Master Bath tile job was very trying to the owner and our Super. The finished product has turned out well but the getting there was a hassle. The tile installers were slow, poorly planned and executed and the work had to be redone several times befere we would pass it. The tile crew were finally fired and a new one brought in to finish the job. Thumbs up on the design and thumbs down on Perfect Touch the tile contractor who took 6 months to do a 4-5 day job.
Tile job in Bath 2 was a similar problem. Final product was so poorly done that it had to be removed and the new tile crew did a great job on the second tile job. Thumbs up to Binswanger Glass 540-362-8525, they did a great job installing glass doors on both showers.
Roof Crane from Harbor Freight (actually a 1 ton pickup truck crane)  for lifting everything to roof was mounted on a 1/2" steel plate bolted to the roof beams and  made by Martin Welding 540-343-6001. The Roof Crane is permenant so that the owner can move furniture, garden supplies etc.. to the rooftop garden without hauling them up through the loft apartment up a spirial staircase.
