75 gal. Amaroo Crate grown ball after crate removed. Ball is firm, square and roots do not circle or girdle as they so easily do in round pots. To ship you shrink wrap the sides, which hold the moisture and shape well, but leave the bottom open to drain off or soak up moisture while in storage. With a large flat bottom it displays well and does not blow over easily. The crates are perfect to bump up old storage yard stock into, also to grow large specimans out of the ground without the shock of digging them when they're big. Easily handled by tipping to one side and edging a bucket underneath or by picking up with forks or ball handler.
The above pictures were taken of a balled Sycamore  placed in a crate a year ago with potting mixture tamped in on all sides. The tree added another 1 1/4" in calipher and grew out to fill the crate with good root mass.
